Fit & Finish
The Fit/Finish Technician is responsible for interior finishing tasks including floor installation, cabinet construction, mica application, lexan window installation, and other detail-oriented fabrication duties. Candidates must be experienced in carpentry and general mechanical tasks, with a strong focus on precision and craftsmanship.
Starting Pay: $15/hr
Pay is based on experience.
This position is 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday.

Key Responsibilities
Install interior flooring and finish materials in specialty vehicles.
Build and install cabinets to meet design specifications.
Apply mica (laminate) surfaces to cabinetry and paneling.
Install lexan (polycarbonate) windows and related trim work.
Read and interpret build sheets and diagrams.
Operate standard hand and power tools with accuracy.
Perform quality checks to ensure clean, professional fit and finish.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with safety protocols.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Knowledge in operating basic hand tools.
Has the ability to supply their own tools (sockets, drill, pliers, etc.)
Attentive to detail.
Mechanical skills are required.
Demount/Remount
The Demount/Remount Technician is responsible for the removal of truck bodies from existing chassis and the installation of those bodies onto new chassis. This position also involves installation of Liquid Spring systems, electrical work, and integration of mobile electronic systems.
Starting Pay: $15 per hour.
Pay is based on experience.
This position is 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday.

Qualifications
Required:
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with vehicle systems.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Working knowledge of 12V DC and 110V AC electrical systems.
Automotive HVAC experience.
Familiarity with two-way mobile radio installation and setup.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Knowledge in operating basic hand tools.
Has the ability to supply their own tools (sockets, drill, pliers, etc.)
Attentive to detail.
Mechanical skills are required.
Preferred:
Experience in truck body installation, vehicle upfitting, or remounting.
Emergency Vehicle Upfitter
Southeastern Specialty Vehicles is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Upfitter/Service employee, experienced in 12 Volt electrical, with warning light/warning system, and installation experience. This person would be responsible for adding accessories such as lights, sirens, and more to trucks and SUVs, assisting with troubleshooting electrical issues and servicing vehicles.

Automotive HVAC Technician
Southeastern Specialty Vehicles is seeking a reliable and experienced Automotive HVAC Technician to join our team. Applicants must have at least one year of experience, work well with a team, and meet all requirements.

Requirements:
Must be well versed on automotive HVAC 134a Freon systems.
Experience is required to install new HVAC systems in ambulances and emergency vehicles utilizing tie-in connections on the OEM chassis.
Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance is required.
Must hold a certification or be able to obtain a certification in MVAC Technician Certification/EPA Clean Air Section 609 within 6 months of employment. Or possess a certification as a Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Technician as required by 40CFR Part 82.40
Paint Prep Technician
Southeastern Specialty Vehicles is looking for a skilled and reliable Paint Prep Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in automotive paint prep and a strong understanding of the preparation process required for painting aluminum and other vehicle surfaces.

This is a full-time position with hours from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday.

Working in your assigned territory and building rapport with clients from the emergency services field.
Promote the product offerings of SSV within your assigned area of coverage.
Report every week on the contacts made and future opportunities.
Attend trade shows for emergency services within the state(s) of your coverage areas.
Assist clients with any questions or concerns about our products.
Attend training offered by our manufacturers to promote all products effectively.
Qualifications Include:
EMS knowledge.
Ability to communicate via phone, email, and in-person communications.
Must be able to operate a computer efficiently and utilize the programs and CRM used in building emergency vehicles.
Ability to learn and make suggestions to clients when they need guidance in designing their next emergency vehicle.
Must be able to travel and have a reliable method of transportation to visit clients.
Carpenters
Southeastern Specialty Vehicles is seeking an experienced cabinet maker that is reliable and able to perform job tasks independently and as a team when needed. The ideal applicant must be able to meet deadlines and effectively build cabinets for the correct products.
